ഭാരതത്തിലെ തദ്ദേശീയ പാരമ്പര്യ ചികിത്സകളിൽ പലതും നാടിന് നഷ്ടമാകുന്ന അവസ്ഥാ വിശേഷമാണ് ഇപ്പോഴുള്ളത്. ഈ രീതിയിൽ ഉള്ള അറിവുകളെ, ഗുരുക്കന്മാരിൽ നിന്നോ, കുടുംബ പാരമ്പര്യത്തിൽ നിന്നോ ലഭിച്ചിട്ടുള്ള അറിവുകളെ എങ്ങനെ സംരക്ഷിക്കാം, ഇത്തരത്തിൽ പാരമ്പര്യ അറിവുകൾ നേടിയിട്ടുള്ള വ്യക്തികളെ എങ്ങനെ ഒത്തൊരുമിപ്പിക്കാം എന്നതിനെ പറ്റി മധ്യപ്രാദേശിലെ ഭോപ്പാലിൽ 2007 ഇൽ നടന്ന ഭാരത വിജ്ഞാൻ സമ്മേളനത്തിൽ നടന്ന ചർച്ചയിൽ നിന്ന് സ്വദേശി സയൻസ് മൂവ്മെന്റ് വിഭാവനം ചെയ്തതാണ് തദ്ദേശീയ പാരമ്പര്യ ചികിത്സാ വിഭാഗം എന്ന സംഘടന.

TPVC is working with the aim of developing indigenous traditional arts in India. The unique traditional medicine of Kerala is on the verge of extinction today. The arduous task of bringing them up is being done in collaboration with the respective state governments with the great intention of maintaining the tradition and culture by incorporating the systematic legal system.
Although there are hundreds of medical organizations in Kerala, only this one organization, the Indigenous traditional medicine department, is moving towards the goal through systematic activities. TPCV is participated in all Global Ayurveda Conferences and shared many achievements. TPCV is an organization that is working well in Kerala for the upliftment of physicians and the growth of traditional medicine.
The day-to-day administration is done by the secretary. The secretary is responsible for preparing the documents of the trust, convening meetings, preparing minutes, and preparing and presenting reports. The approval of the President and Organizer must be obtained for all financial transactions under his committee. Correspondence shall be entered into and a record kept by the Secretary. In the absence of the secretary, Jo. Secretary shall perform all these duties.
Keeping all financial accounts and making financial transactions at necessary times. The entire operations of this trust will be subject to the Income Tax Act. The utilization of the trust fund shall be fully subject to the provisions of the Income Tax Act.
Each of the District Committees will be under the direct control of the State Committee representing them.
The responsibilities of the District Organizers are to facilitate the activities of the District Committees and redress the grievances of the District Committees.
The State Organizer will be under the direct control of the National Committee representing each State Committee.
